Part of the appeal of theatre is the ability to experience a show in live action and feel every emotional and physical aspect of that everlasting experience. Phedre, starring Helen Mirren is a UK National Theatre production. Phedre has been an attempt to change the traditional way of viewing a theatre production. The live performance, which was filmed in London on the twenty fifth of June, was then broadcasted world wide, via satellite, to cinemas and performing arts centers. It's an attempt indeed, but nothing can truly replace live theatre.
